Conclusion

what I learned

Being a teacher is an amazing and demanding thing to do. During this process I could know more about myself regarding to what strengths and weaknesses I can have at the moment of teaching. From this wonderful experience I not only learned from my mistakes but also I learned too many things from my students. They taught me about their lives and all the effort they have to do to get an access to education. I met a wonderful group of people whose commitment made possible those lessons.

We as educators must use technology tools as good as possible trying to adjust the needs of the students making them learn in the best possible way letting know that technology is not only made to waste time but that they can learn using it.

The use of video conference was always a good method to teach vocabulary and pronunciation to my students and it helped them not only to learn but to feel immerged in the foreign language. There are still some things to improve because in some situations the internet connection presented some problems but I think this is a lesser problem for the upcoming future.

Nowadays we have the access to a new reality which is the virtual reality. Thanks to the advancements of technology we can practice English with a person hundreds of miles away from us. We only have to get access to it.

Technology created not only a new way to learn things but also it changed our world perspective because now we can obtain information from many different places using many different methods. Its impact has been so big that now we cannot imagine our life without it. The information has increased but it is our responsibility as teachers to give a correct use of it.

I hope to continue growing up as a teacher being able to give my best in any situation that I will face. As a final statement I must say that teaching is a constant learning.
