An overview of my portfolio

Being a teacher is one of the most challenging and exciting things to do. We are in constant chance and development looking for new methods and approaches that better satisfy the needs of our students. There have been many ways in which those methods have been performed but in this work I will analyze the lessons given through a virtual environment using the help of the tool Google hang outs and you tube.

The social networks have changed the way we perceived education. The way the lesson that are going to be described in this portfolio are an example of how technology and social media helped create an amazing way to teach helping both teacher and students. Thanks to those elements, people who could barely take part in speaking lessons were able to practice and improve in different areas.

One of the most demanding and difficult skill to practice is speaking. In order to develop this skill it is important for the learners to have time to practice. In a virtual environment it used to be a bit difficult to practice speaking but thanks to the online conversations that have been developed, this is now as useful as face to face teaching. Of course there are some things that still need to be developed and that are going to be discussed in this portfolio.
